Important Information on DOL White Card Eligibility and Compensation
If you’ve suffered a work-related illness or injury, you may qualify for compensation through the Department of Labor’s (DOL) Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP). A key part of this process is obtaining a DOL White Card, which confirms your condition has been officially recognized and approved.
Who is Eligible?
Individuals diagnosed with a work-related illness or injury may be eligible to apply for a DOL White Card, provided they have the appropriate and approved medical diagnosis. You do not need to have the White Card to begin exploring your eligibility. However, once received, the White Card qualifies you for various benefits, such as:
- Medical expenses coverage
- Wage replacement payments
- Other potential benefits
How to Qualify
We will assign you to an authorized representative to help you through the application process. If approved, you will receive the White Card, which grants you access to OWCP compensation. Even if you don’t currently have a White Card, it’s important to check if your condition qualifies.
Upon approval, you could be entitled to financial compensation ranging from $150,000 to $250,000, along with a medical benefits card.
